Help Me Reach My Goal for Vero Beach Rowing!

Dear Family and Friends,

As you may know I am rower for Vero Beach Rowing (VBR), an amazing community nonprofit rowing club comprised of approximately 85 student-athletes/members. I have been rowing for 3 years now and have just joined the varsity girls team. I love rowing! It is an amazing, challenging sport that requires huge dedication and commitment. I plan to continue my rowing career past high school and into college. It is a sport that has added so much to my life, a family, a love for the water and I am so grateful for it. With your help, we can help other students find this sport and experience its community.

Each fall our team organizes an “ergathon” to raise funds. An ergathon is a classic crew fundraising event where athletes row a specified time on rowing machines (ergs) showing their passion and commitment to their sport and boathouse and hopefully earning the right to ask for your donation!

My team will be rowing 26.2 miles (42,165 meters) to raise money for these youth athletes.

How can you help? Sponsor me! I need family, friends and the Vero Beach community to support me for the upcoming ergathon, which will take place December 17th. I would greatly appreciate any dollar amount that you can contribute to this VERY worthy cause. Donating is easy!

My personal goal is to raise a minimum of $500, and every dollar counts! Our goal is to fund scholarships to help make our club more accessible to all athletes. Any additional funds raised will be to support operating costs for the 2022-23 crew season.
