Dear Family and Friends,

It is that time of year again for Vero Beach Rowing's fall ergathon! This event helps to raise funds for our “Learn to Row” camps for youth athletes, many of whom couldn’t attend without the funds raised during this event.
An ergathon is a classic crew fundraising event where athletes row for a specified time on rowing machines (ergs), showing their passion and commitment to their sport and boathouse and hopefully earning the right to ask for your donation!
My team will be rowing 26.2 miles (42,165 meters) to raise money for these youth athletes.

Personally, rowing has impacted my life because it brings me joy, self-confidence, and I love the physical and mental challenge that the sport provides. The challenge helps me push myself so I can be a better rower! This past spring, my boat and I placed 2nd at Southeast Regionals, which consists of 7 southeast states. We had the amazing opportunity of racing at Youth Nationals as well. I personally receive scholarship funds from this amazing organization so I can continue to participate in this sport. No donation is too small! Please consider donating to help other athletes like myself to get an amazing opportunity to participate in this wonderful sport!

The rowing experience has challenged me to work hard and support my teammates as they support me. With your help, we can expand our programs so more kids in the Treasure Coast area can join our team and benefit from this experience.
