On Saturday, November 15, 2025, I will take on an epic challenge with my Vero Beach Rowing teammates — rowing a full marathon (26.2 miles/42,165 meters) on indoor rowing machines during our annual Erg-A-Thon!

This exciting event is more than just a test of endurance — it’s our biggest youth fundraiser of the year. Every stroke helps raise funds to:

Provide scholarships so all kids can access the sport of rowing
Maintain and purchase safe, reliable equipment
Support the 2025–26 rowing season for more than 75 student-athletes

Our goal is to make rowing accessible to every young athlete in Indian River County who wants to be part of this life-changing sport. With your support, we can continue building a strong, inclusive rowing community right here in Vero Beach.

Hi all,

As you may know, I’m a proud member of Vero Beach Rowing, a nonprofit community rowing club with about 75 student-athletes. Rowing has become such a big part of my life — it’s an exciting, challenging sport that pushes me to give my very best every day.

Each fall, our team hosts an Erg-A-Thon, a classic rowing fundraiser where athletes use machines called ergs to showcase their dedication and raise support for our program. This year, I’ll be rowing 26.2 miles (a full marathon — 42,165 meters!) alongside my teammates on November 15, and I’d love your support.

Here’s how you can help: Sponsor me!

Every contribution, big or small, makes a huge difference. My personal goal is to raise at least $750, and together, our team is working to fund scholarships so that rowing is accessible to every student who wants to be part of our program. Additional funds will go toward purchasing training equipment and operating costs for the 2025–26 season.
