Help Me Reach My Goal for Vero Beach Rowing!

Dear Family and Friends,

As you may know I am rower for Vero Beach Rowing (VBR), an amazing community nonprofit rowing club comprised of approximately 70 student-athletes/members. I love rowing! It is an amazing, challenging sport that requires huge dedication and commitment.

Each fall our team organizes an “ergathon” to raise funds for our “Learn to Row” camps for youth athletes, many of whom couldn’t attend without the funds raised during this event.

An ergathon is a classic crew fundraising event where athletes row a specified time on rowing machines (ergs) showing their passion and commitment to their sport and boathouse and hopefully earning the right to ask for your donation!

My team will be rowing 26.2 miles (42,165 meters) to raise money for these youth athletes.

My personal goal is to raise a minimum of $500, and every dollar counts! Our goal is to fund scholarships to help make our club more accessible to all athletes. Any additional funds raised will be to support operating costs for the 2021-22 crew season.
