Vero Beach Rowing - Giving Challenge 2022

Spend any time at the Toffey Community Rowing boathouse, and you’ll feel the energy. Depending on the time of day, you’ll see our Juniors or those in our Masters program arriving to see what the coaches have in store. There are quick exchanges to say hi, then the focus shifts to your crew; preparing your boat and readying your equipment.

The sport of rowing builds an attitude of teamwork and requires discipline while promoting physical fitness and well being. We’d like to bring this experience and opportunity to more within our community and we’re asking for your help to accomplish this goal.

Donations received during our Giving Challenge will fund:

• Scholarships for disadvantaged youth to our summer camp program and competing Junior team
• Row Beyond Diagnosis as well as other programs designed to support adults in the midst of change or challenges
• Equipment needs (boats, oars, shoes, etc.)
• Community outreach efforts

The foundation is established; our boathouse is open and staffed with coaches who bring a depth of knowledge and experience to Vero like never before. Now is the opportunity to expand and allow this great sport to positively impact others. Let's empower more lives, one stroke at a time.
