Support Community Rowing in Indian River County!

Join me in supporting the good work that Vero Beach Rowing does to provide healthy outdoor exercise for the youth of Indian River County. This year (now more than ever), we need to increase our efforts!

Our goal this fall is to raise over $25,000 through our Erg-A-Thon, an event that will test and strengthen our athletes' physical fitness, personal character, and ethics of cooperation. Starting at 10:00 am on October 16 at our Toffey Community Rowing Boathouse, teams of rowers will keep their rowing machine spinning for 42,195 meters - a full marathon 26.2-mile distance! Each of our club's athletes has been challenged to raise at least $700 to meet our goal.

Vero Beach Rowing Club has changed me. I started out not liking any sports, not wanting to try new things, and not knowing how to push myself. Anyone who meets me now can see the difference. Rowing has become my life, and I have completely fallen in love with it. It has taught me so many lessons that I have been able to extend to the outside of rowing, and I wouldn't want to spend my time anywhere else. Confidence, determination, and conviction are a few of the many things that grow under the coaches at VBR, and those valuable life lessons should be taught to everyone as we grow our program. Any donation will make a difference in being able to support the program and introduce new people to the sport.
