The Vero Beach Rowing Spring Challenge 2021

Just one year ago and thanks to many, many of you, the Vero Beach community joined with Vero Beach Rowing to dedicate a beautiful, fully funded boathouse. Also one year ago, the pandemic challenged us to give back through community outreach programs under strict social limitations.

We've accomplished just that! Lively and fun youth summer camps. Rewarding adult Learn-to-Row and fitness classes. Deeply supportive Rowing after (cancer) Diagnosis group instruction.

Now just imagine the day when COVID is behind us, when you can once again show your smile to the world, when you can share a friend's embrace, when your day to day activities are NORMAL again. At Vero Beach Rowing, we are not just imagining that day - we are planning for it.

We have big plans for our community! We are adding more programs to serve more participants! We are expanding outreach efforts to introduce rowing to a more diverse community. In early 2021 a new salaried coach was hired, a native Spanish-speaker, with a specific focus on community outreach.

Vero Beach Rowing is growing, and we need your help to raise money to fund our program expansion. Would you consider supporting our efforts to reach out further to our community?

• Did you know it costs more to recruit and retain disadvantaged youth? Would you consider donating $600 to help a kid row this spring?
• Summer rowing camp programs will be starting soon. Your $200 donation can send a disadvantaged kid to camp for a week.
