Our Mission
To promote and teach the sport of rowing to the community in order to develop physical fitness, personal character, and an ethic of cooperation through competitive and recreational opportunities.
Who We Are
Vero Beach Rowing (VBR) is a Guidestar Platinum non-profit organization providing opportunities for rowers of all ages and skill levels to learn about and participate in the wonderful sport of rowing. We are a lean organization that relies on volunteers for administering all of our programs and operations. Only our coaches receive any form of compensation.
VBR maintains an active, diverse membership who act as ambassadors of the sport of rowing and its many benefits in Vero Beach and surrounding communities by providing education, fostering partnerships and increasing awareness of the unique natural resources of the Indian River Lagoon, while conducting activities to support our objectives. Our programs cater to a wide range of ages, from middle schoolers to senior citizens. We offer need based scholarships to ensure no one is denied the opportunity to participate in rowing. We partner with local community outreach organizations (Hibiscus Childrens, Friends After Diagnosis, etc.) to introduce rowing, and all its benefits (physical fitness, team work, sense of accomplishment, etc.) to a broader community

Vero Beach Rowing is a growing community asset and we need your help to continue our growth, improve our programs, and maintain our facilities. As a supporter, your donation assures that the community has access to all of the rowing amenities that our programs and events offer. Your donation will go towards growing the sport of rowing in Vero Beach by contributing to youth scholarships, equipment purchases (boats, oars, ergs, etc.), and to supporting our coaches.
With your financial contribution, our community will continue to build the assets that allow everyone the opportunity to experience recreational activities like rowing on our beautiful Indian River Lagoon.
